Protecting your security on our website

We have invested in systems that will ensure the security of your credit card when you use it to make purchases from this website.

You can choose from a number of payment methods:

  • On-line credit card payments via our secure server.
This is our recommended method of payment - most people should find this the simplest and most convenient. You enter your credit card details into a separate, secure site (managed by HSBC Secure ePayments). For your security, your credit card details are NOT stored on our website or in our database - thereby eliminating the chance of a "hacker" accessing your credit card details from our website.

Our credit card payment page is protected by the use of SSL. SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer and it is the standard used by Web browsers to send data back and forth securely. It does this by encrypting the data before sending it out over the Internet. Even in the event of someone intercepting your transaction data, the encryption will prevent them from using it.

We recognise that some of our customers may not wish to use credit cards on-line, so we have also made available the following payment options:

  • Telephone payment: you can use our website to place your order as normal. However, rather than requiring you to enter your credit card details online, we will call you back to take your card details over the telephone.
  • Fax payment: you can use our website to place your order as normal. However, rather than requiring you to enter you credit card details online, we will provide you with a faxback sheet which you can print out, then enter your credit card details in ink, before faxing the sheet to us.
  • Postal payment: if you prefer not to use a credit card at all, you can send us a cheque (pounds sterling only) to make your payment.
